Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to your registration to attend, and your attendance at the event, 2026 Australia & New Zealand Shipping & Logistics Conference.

We value your privacy. A copy of our privacy policy can be found here, and describes how we generally collect, hold and use your personal information. More specifically, we will use the personal information you provide to us during registration to process your registration, send you notifications and updates about the event and provide you with information about other associated events.

We will also be taking photographs and/or recording video and/or screenshots of the event, which may be used in promotional material and on social media to promote FTA, APSA and NZCOC activities and future events. If you do not want to be included in those photographs and/or video, please inform the Conference Office.

If you have any questions about the use of your personal information (including the use of event photographs and video) or would like to amend or access your personal information held by us, please contact the Conference Office.

We know things change. If you’ve registered to attend the event and can no longer make it, you must advise the Conference Office in writing. The following cancellation terms will be applicable:

  1. Registration cancellations prior to midnight 25 August 2026 are entitled to a refund. Cancellations on or after 26 August 2026 are ineligible for a refund however a registration may be transferred to another delegate. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of cancellation.

  2. Registrations may be transferred to another person at any time without financial penalty. All transfers must be advised in writing to the Conference Office. Registration details will be updated accordingly and confirmation sent to the attending delegate.

FTA and our co-hosts want the event to be an enjoyable experience for everyone, so all attendees must conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous way.

FTA and our co-hosts may refuse admission to, or eject any attendee from, the event if we believe that they are not complying with these terms and conditions or are causing a nuisance.

FTA and our co-hosts may, for reasons outside of our control, postpone the event or change its advertised format, content, timing, location or any other aspect of the event.

To the extent permitted by law, FTA and our co-hosts will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any damages, loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind howsoever arising, out of or in connection with your registration to attend, and/or attendance of, the event.

Any disputes between an attendee and FTA and our co-hosts in relation to the event, that cannot be resolved in an amicable way, must be referred to the Australian Disputes Centre for arbitration in accordance with the Centre’s Guidelines and Rules for Arbitration. The decision of the arbitrator (including any award as to costs) will be final and binding.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and all attendees submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
